About Hakham Greenberg
Hakham Aryeh Greenberg grew up in the Congregation Ezra Bessaroth where his father served as Rabbi. At a young age he was leading the early parts of Shabbat services and under the tutelage of Hazzan Isaac Azose was taught the special local customs and tunes of the Sephardic community. In 1990 he was sent by Hakham Solomon Gaon z”l to serve as Hakham of Congregation Sephardic Sha'are Rahamim, Inc. in the Bronx, NY. For the next 9 years he conducted services in the same fashion as he had learned in Seattle.  We are honored to welcome Hakham Aryeh back for the third year with our congregation.
