Ahavath Achim is a Sephardic congregation founded by members of the Rhodes and Turkey communities close to one hundred years ago.

This Shabbat Rabbi Kaplan will give a class on the topic of
Sepharadim and Ashkenazim: Should we all get along?
The class will take place downstairs, following lunch.
Join us on Wednesday nights for a class on
Sephardic traditions and customs.
We will begin our series with aspects of Shabbat from a Sephardic perspective.
We will discuss the differences between Sephardic and Ashkenazic practice as it applies to Shabbat customs. There are many details that encompass these important mitzvot which we will explore in order to appreciate and enhance our Shabbat experience.
The class will take place at Ahavath Achim in the Sanctuary.
